A summer program for high school students to conduct research in MA. Researched the mechanical properties of the tricuspid valve over time in the Amini Lab. Our paper was published in May 2023!

I was focused on the mechanical properties of the tricuspid valve - an important but understudied part of the heart. Using biaxial mechanical testing, we analyzed the anterior leaflet and used stress-strain plots to measure change in the modulus of stiffness overtime.
