When I was in 9th grade, I had the opportunity to compete in my school STEM Fair as well as in my region and in the state of Massachusetts.
Programming & Science: September-March 2021
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the MA State Fair did not want to cancel because of the hard work put in by all of its attendees. As a result, a virtual fair was put in place where all students had to make a five minute video explaining their project to the judges. With the shortened presentation, I was unable to explain my data analysis and talk in-dept about research; and a video cannot capture the graphs and photos clearly. A solution to my problem was to create a website explaining my project, its research, and data analysis. The website included larger graphs and data tables, my daily logs during the experimentation, and an FAQ since there is no way for the judges to communicate with me.
